Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry with Rice

Ingredients

200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

1 broccoli head, cut into florets

1/2 onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

30ml soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

15ml oyster sauce (optional)

5ml sesame oil

Cooked rice, to serve

Method

Step 1

Heat sesame oil in a pan or wok over high heat.

Step 2

Add sliced beef and stir-fry until browned.

Step 3

Add sliced onion and minced garlic, stir-fry for another minute.

Step 4

Add broccoli florets and continue to stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.

Step 5

Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), stir well.

Step 6

Cook until broccoli is tender-crisp and beef is cooked to your liking.

Step 7

Serve beef and broccoli stir-fry over cooked rice.
